Why do mice show up every fall?
As fall nights cool, mice move toward warmth, food and shelter, and a house mouse only needs a quarter-inch gap, about the width of a pencil, to get in. A shore-town house on a crawlspace with a few unsealed penetrations is the easiest target on the street.
Do you use poison?
Where baiting is appropriate we use locked, tamper-resistant stations placed where children and pets cannot reach them, and we explain exactly where each one is. In many homes trapping and exclusion do the job without bait.
